The app lets a pizzeria (or, for other affiliates using the same app, whoever runs one) announce "Pizza Days" and "Bakers Days," take pre-orders, and hand out food at pickup. Using it means you're signing up to help someone cook and to show up for what you ordered — not entering a retail contract with a company.
The app can involve alcohol: an optional drink (like an Aperol Spritz) added to a pizza order, and Wine Tasting events some pizzerias host, where wines are tasted, rated, and guessed at. Because of this, the app is rated 18+ on the App Store and is only meant for users 18 or older. Alcohol is only ever handed over in person at pickup — the app doesn't sell or deliver it, and it's up to the pizzeria running the event to check age at that point.
Depending on the pizzeria, you pay in cash at pickup or by card through Stripe, our payment processor (see the Privacy Policy for how that works). Card payments are only ever meant to cover the cost of ingredients and the event — this isn't a for-profit retail sale.
You need an account to order, and you need to join a specific pizzeria (by QR code or invite code) to see its menu. Don't share join codes outside the group they're meant for, and don't use the app to order on someone else's behalf without their knowledge.
The app is provided as-is, run by someone testing and improving it, not a company offering a service-level guarantee. We try to keep orders, pickup times, and notifications accurate, but things can go wrong — a Pizza Day can be cancelled, the app can have bugs, and we can't promise it'll always work perfectly. We're not liable for food allergies or dietary needs beyond what's listed in the app — always check the ingredients list yourself if you have an allergy.
These terms may change as the app (and this hobby) evolves. If San Marco Pizza ever becomes a real registered business, this page will be replaced with proper terms and an Impressum.
